AAE collectors have been tested to minus 15°c without the need for glycols or antifreeze liquids.Evacuated tube collectors are more efficient at absorbing solar heat than flat-plate collectors. Their tubular shape make them ideal for when a roof is not pointing true north and they are highly frost resistant.
